My model had a filming to do on very much short notice and was asked to lighten her hair color. Which was no problem to do since she takes very good care of her hair. I am a Jack Wynn hair-color user for the past 3-4 years. I have used a lot of hair-color lines in my 30 years of being a professional. But as of now I prefer the Jack Wynn hair-color line. In proceeding with the foil highlight I decided to use, Brilliant Lightener.

Brilliant Lightener is a classic lightener made with the highest grade possible of each ingredient. This purity of ingredients is why it’s the first thing hairdressers rave about when they try our products—and why it lifts better than its competitors. Safe on and off the scalp, Brilliant Lightener is excellent for highlighting, global application, and color removal.
I started with foils and did a medium amount, using a textured weave for her hair-coloring. After the full application a timer was set for 30 minutes. I used 20volume and 30 volume developers to get the needed lift I wanted and to be finished at the exact time for all sections. The hair was washed with HydraLock Shampoo and also HydraLock Conditioner by Jack Wynn. There was to need for any extra conditioning. That is why I use this bleach it will leave the hair smooth and undamaged. It is a very good product to use if you are a professional in a salon or doing commercial work.
When lightening the hair it is not always needed to lighten every hair on the head of the client. Unless she wants a double process. I like to leave out hair for a contrast more or less like a beach look. Always take care of your blonde hair, it will pick up color from your tap water and eventually look dull. Stay away from all the purple colored shampoo’s, because there is pigment in the shampoo to also dull your hair-color more. Make a appointment at your salon for a clarifying treatment and that will take all the pigment out of your hair from the tap water and pool water also.
