Batiste Dry Shampoo Thumbs Up For Photo-Shoots!

Joseph Kellner SalonA very good product too use for fine hair or if you want some volume or too use in between shampoo’s.  Batiste Dry Shampoo is perfect to use between washes.  A quick burst revitalizes hair & removes any excess grease.  Hair feels gorgeously clean & fresh with added body & texture.  But be careful this product will go all over the place, and close you mouth so you won’t breathe the chemical in. That I fined was the only downfall of the hair care product.  If your hair needs volume especially when I do photography in the Florida heat and Humidity. This product will give me the added lift when the hair falls after curling it. Spray at least 6-8 inches away from the scalp.  And if you are a blonde artificially use only the original scent. Some of the sprays come tinted so be careful, the tint is very Matte.  If volume is not required then simply brush out the excess after massaging the product through the hair.   If your hair is artificially treated with tints and dye’s, Batiste will give the hair a break from frequent washing and blow drying that can fade the artificial tint.

Work the product into the hair hair with my fingers like I would if I was washing my hair in the shower. Then let your hair down and spray some at the top back of your head (where a bun would sit) and work it in in the same way. It takes away the greasy look completely and gives your hair some lift. It doesn’t feel like it has tons of product all over it, and it seems to actually look and feel better a couple of hours after applying (because it probably has time to absorb the oil). It doesn’t leave a white “powdery” look like some dry shampoos can.  The more I use Baptiste, the more hairstyles I have been able to do (curls, pulling hair back in different ways, etc) because the texture of the hair (by not traditionally washing it everyday) holds styles better than freshly washed hair.  Great for Photo-Shoots. If you already have a tinge of brown on your hair, as some girls are born with, and have a fair complexion, then go for red streaks on your hair, you will look awesome.

The same goes for people having a darker skin tone, using burgundy or brown will ruin your looks for good. Go for streaks as in Dark red or go for some blond streaks. It’s best to go for you, not to go in for full hair color, since your skin tone is darker.

If you do have a dark skin tone, lets say very dark like African Americans, then and still want to go in for full hair color, or lets say you suffer from grey hair and want full coverage, then choose a subtle blonde color , which is between brown and blonde but not total blond, a suppressed blond.

If you have wheat complexion, well we Indians love playing with our hair colors, you can do streaks of red/ or / blue on your hair, or go in for a burgundy color or even light brown.

The brightest of all the colors is Red. If you are thinking of coloring your hair red then you might as well streak it and not color it totally. That works perfectly.

If you are extremely pale then don’t go for black or very dark hair color. It will make you look paler than you already are. Dark hair can also make you look older than you are if out on pale skin toned people.

People with hazel, green and brown eyes can go for warm overtones in colors. Golden blonde, golden brown and burgundy are some of them.

People with blue or gray eyes can go for cool overtones in hair color. Platinum, ash blonde, ash brown, blonde colors will suit these people more.

If you are thinking of dying hair into non-natural colors such as purple, blue, and green, think about how this might clash with your current wardrobe and jewellery. Also, it should go with the dress code at work or school.
