Batiste Dry Shampoo Thumbs Up For Photo-Shoots!

Joseph Kellner SalonA very good product too use for fine hair or if you want some volume or too use in between shampoo’s.  Batiste Dry Shampoo is perfect to use between washes.  A quick burst revitalizes hair & removes any excess grease.  Hair feels gorgeously clean & fresh with added body & texture.  But be careful this product will go all over the place, and close you mouth so you won’t breathe the chemical in. That I fined was the only downfall of the hair care product.  If your hair needs volume especially when I do photography in the Florida heat and Humidity. This product will give me the added lift when the hair falls after curling it. Spray at least 6-8 inches away from the scalp.  And if you are a blonde artificially use only the original scent. Some of the sprays come tinted so be careful, the tint is very Matte.  If volume is not required then simply brush out the excess after massaging the product through the hair.   If your hair is artificially treated with tints and dye’s, Batiste will give the hair a break from frequent washing and blow drying that can fade the artificial tint.

Work the product into the hair hair with my fingers like I would if I was washing my hair in the shower. Then let your hair down and spray some at the top back of your head (where a bun would sit) and work it in in the same way. It takes away the greasy look completely and gives your hair some lift. It doesn’t feel like it has tons of product all over it, and it seems to actually look and feel better a couple of hours after applying (because it probably has time to absorb the oil). It doesn’t leave a white “powdery” look like some dry shampoos can.  The more I use Baptiste, the more hairstyles I have been able to do (curls, pulling hair back in different ways, etc) because the texture of the hair (by not traditionally washing it everyday) holds styles better than freshly washed hair.  Great for Photo-Shoots. Fly Away Hair Is Not Needed For Editorial Photo Shoots

When my customers leave the salon I like a nice clean smooth set for the hair. And also I prefer to have the curled hair at a photo shoot have no fly away hairs.  I have been using the Pureology Smooth Perfection Lightweight Smoothing Lotion for my blow outs in the salon and also for film and print work. And may I say it is outstanding to work with.  The product gives the hair a lovely sheen and also the hair is not weighed down with unneeded elixirs.  A simple product to use and very affordable to use in the salon. Pureology Smooth Perfection Smoothing Serum provides smoothness, frizz control and helps protect from heat-styling damage for normal to thick hair.

2015 Joseph Kellner Photoshoots I also recommend cock tailing the product with Smooth Perfection Intense Smoothing Cream for that very straight sleek look on frizzy long hair.  This anti-frizz cream smooths unwanted volume on even the most rebellious coarse hair. Either product you use is a win win for me in the salon and on set photo shoots.  Try out these products for your hair and see which one works for you. I recommend a quarter size on really thick long hair.  Make sure you comb thru the hair and make sections when you are blow drying the hair.  I get a very soft feel to my finish with either product I choose to use.  Enjoy Joseph Kellner Hairdresser/Makeup Artist In Orlando Florida
