Sun Bum Curls & Waves Styling Cream

Sum Bum is a very unique hair care product that I really like. Why? It is simple, not a lot of products and it performs the way it was made. I wrote a blog on the shampoo and conditioner and these products really do a good job on color treated and virgin hair.

But I have been using the Sun Bum Waves and Curling Creme on my hair and it is thick and short and it works wonder for men’s grooming. On the above model for his photo-shoot we cut the hair short and applied Sun Bum Creme. I groom the style and it held the hair in place and it also has a wonderful coconut scent to it.

The styling creme did not leave the hair brittle or dry looking. My client had no problem shampooing the creme from the hair and he and I use it daily. It will not leave any flaking to the scalp at all. I recommend this for all male client’s that come into the salon.

Now Curls and Waves Styling Creme is a lightweight styling cream with Kukui Nut Oil and Monoi Coconut Oil that helps nourish our hair for soft curls without the crunch. Our Curls & Waves Styling Cream is a lightweight styling cream that helps nourish hair for soft curls without the crunch. It delivers light hold with long-lasting smooth, frizz-free, shiny, touchable curls. It also helps protect your hair from damaging UV rays and shield your precious locks from becoming dull, brittle, frizzy, and discolored.

Wet your hair- wash it, rinse it, condition it, whatever your move is. Towel dry and apply a dime size (yes, less is more) into your palm, and scrunch styling cream into curls starting at the bottom. Use your fingertips to break apart large sections of hair and make more individual, defined curls.

It is not easy to find Sum Bum in the commercial stores, but I go online to order any and all of there products. There website is SUN BUM and you can order from there website any of there hair care products or sun lotions. I highly recommend this product.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Styling Lotion

Trying new products for color treated hair is important to me. And keeping a revolving product line for my clients is also very important. Using the same products over and over at the salon or at home will leave a build-up on the scalp and hair. It is good to change all your hair care tools all the time.

I have since tried the Shea Moisture product line often on my clients and have found out it works beautifully for highlighted hair. Especially for fine to medium types of hair textures.  Styling lotions are important for the blow-out of hair styling for the client and I personally do not like to use a lot of products on the hair. I feel the hair design is very important.

So a month ago I tired the Shea Moisture Styling Lotion and it worked great for my clients.

This precious oil based lotion protects while restoring moisture and lustrous shine to dull, damaged or chemically processed hair. Nutrient-rich Jamaican Black Castor Oil, certified organic Shea Butter and invigorating Peppermint combine in an ultra-moisturizing formula to protect against the damaging effects of high heat styling, while increasing hair’s resistance to breakage.

I applied a quarter sized amount in my hands and applied it to my clients hair, and combed the product throughout with a wide tooth comb. I gave her a blow-out and curled the hair and it did a very good job. Leaving the hair very soft.

When you have clients with high-lift hair-color the hair is very fragile so protection is needed. Stay away from protein based styling products and shampoo’s and conditioners for the hair. It will make the hair fragile and dry. Use moisture based products. Give this product a try at home or recommend it to your stylist. Shea Moisture.
