Red Hair Coloring is one of my favorite to do. For me it is relatively easy to take care of and easy to change. If you are going to wear it doing the summer time make sure to go to the salon at least every two weeks for a color wash to refresh the tone and add shine. Also make sure you use the right styling products and the right temperatures with your blow dryer, flat-iron and also curling iron. Washing the hair every other day will also help to hold in the tone and using dry shampoos will be great for in between shampoo’s.
The artificial hair color I used was from KIN. The client has 100% grey hair and her density is thick and also fine hair. When I do the hair coloring, I use 25% – 6NN and also a level 6 Red Orange with about 3-4 inches of a level 5 Gold. With a 20 volume developer. A timer is set for 60 minutes. theN a level 7RR is placed on the shaft and ends of the hair. Which is a demi-permanent formula. The hair is washed clean styled and off she goes. This client comes to me for treatments to the hair color every 2-3 weeks. She is an actress and needs it right for her profession or modelling photo-shoots.
After her hair coloring service I went ahead and did a FAST BLOW DRY from GK. My models hair is also wavy and frizz’s up in the summer humidity here in Orlando. This helps her out a lot.
