FULL EXPOSURE PALETTE By Smashbox Is a wonderful product to work with and it is true to tone for all of your eye shadow colors.  I used this palette on Jamilla for her first photo-shoot and I was very surprised. The product holds.  I did not need a primer for the extra hold on the eye lids. And blending was effortless. This palette is a real deal also for the consumer priced at $50.00 dollars you cant go wrong. I was roaming around Ulta for some lip liners and low and behold there it was in front of me.  There was no flacking of the shadows, hardly any clean up at all.  I did not even need to punch up the makeup at all except to add a few new colors to her photo-shoot . Normally I rely on MAC for all of my photo-shoots I am hired for.  The use of eyeshades worked well on this model.  This was Jamilla’s first photo-shoot!

But next time I will use this palette again. The palette also came with a mascara which worked well also. I try not to use one product line for my cosmetics I use in the salon.  I prefer to use what works for me, which is normally different brands.. The same also for when I am dressing the hair. Look around if you are a Make-up Artist there are a lot of good products in a lot of different cosmetic company’s to play with.

PHOTO FINISH FOUNDATION PRIMER is another product I often use from SMASHBOX wonderful collections of products for the face. Create a perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky, lightweight blend of vitamins A & E, grape seed extract and green tea. Worn alone or under foundation, our best-selling, oil-free primer helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores for flawless skin with a velvety-smooth finish. This I say is a must for good makeup applications and for editorial or film work. Apply a dime-size amount of PHOTO FINISH FOUNDATION PRIMER to clean or moisturized skin, using fingertips, for complexion perfection. Follow with your favorite foundation. And guess what I also used it on the hair to keep the fly-away hairs from peeking up there ugly heads. So if you like to tame frizzes’, try smoothing primer through wet or dry hair. And then blow dry the hair, or use it on the dry before curling. It’s amazing!
