My first model for the new year is wearing a dress from Fashion-Nova.com a maxi-dress. Also all of her cosmetic jewelry was from the same company. Before I do a photo-Shoot I like to have a makeup class to get the right colors for the shoot. A lot of times makeup outdoors will depend on the natural lighting given that day. So I went for a natural application of MAC Makeup. For all the makeup artists and hairdressers that read my blog you can go to any MAC store and book a 1 1/2 makeup class for you and your model. It cost only $90.00 for the class and your model will get tons of samples to go home with. Also if you are a makeup artist or hairdresser you can apply for a MAC-PRO card and receive 30% off your purchases.
The first product we used was MAC Studio Face and Body Foundation, my model has freckles and I did not want to cover them up. I just wanted to get some coverage for the photography. Some tone to the skin. , Studio Fix concealer was also used to subdue any blue around the eyes. as you see below. NW24 was used for the application. Both products have a very creamy consistency. And application was a breeze, without any feeling of full coverage. A comfortable, lightweight fluid foundation with a unique blend of emollients that delivers sheer coverage and a satin finish.
